The award winning Nor Wester Cafe (est. 1997), situated in the heart of Amberley just 35 mins north of Christchurch, provides an opportunity to indulge all the senses.
Set in a 1928 bungalow, the interior ambience is warm. An open fire compliments winter dining, while summer days or nights can be spent dining alfresco on the verandah or courtyard.
The extensive menu draws on essence from the region, and offers exciting and unique culinary flavours for those searching for a memorable dining experience. The beverage list includes a wide selection of wines from the Waipara Region.
For those travelling through more casual style food is also available. The espresso is superb, as are the muffins, gateau and cakes!
